Tania was great! We came in without a reservation but she provided great customer service and squeezed us in at more of a “bar seat” but it worked great. Beautiful at sunset. My boyfriend got the “Steamed Bao Buns, Sichuan Spiced Sweet & Sour Garlic Mushrooms (v) $30”

The food was very good and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is lovely, with seating next to a fantastic infinity pool. Although the restaurant is part of a rather posh hotel complex, you can eat there even if you're not a hotel guest, which is very nice. It's a pity that the waitress who mainly served us was rather grumpy — the others were very friendly.

The wonderful staff make this place soooo special. We come twice a year for a month to Barbados. We Will go to the Deck at least 6 times during these periods. We love it.....

Breathtaking views of the beach along with the live calypso band are the highlights of eating at The Deck. The food, however, is merely okay. I had the burger, which I had hoped was a safe order, but was a bit disappointed in the seasoning. The brownie sundae for dessert, however, was excellent. The service, for the most part, was friendly and accommodating, but one order was erroneous and was served much later than the others. To the credit of The Deck, they did not charge for our desserts to makeup for the mishap. Overall, a pleasant experience enhanced by the incredible views.
