We stayed at the House for 10 nights (two couples) and had the most amazing time. We all loved the small, intimate, peaceful hotel, made extra special by the wonderful, attentive staff. We simply cannot understand previous, less favourable reviews; we recognize none of those comments. The entire hotel was spotless, the rooms were so comfortable and the food was outstanding. Huge variety of options for breakfast which changed daily (Patricia at the egg station is amazing), Lunch and dinner were a la carte, apart from a few great BBQ lunches with numerous salads and sides. No dishes were repeated for the whole 10 days, and none of us ever had a meal that wasn’t delicious and beautifully presented. The pool and beach area is beautiful and the bar service there was great. The beach is quiet and pretty and a large area was clear of rocks/coral making swimming in the sea so lovely. We also had great cocktails throughout our stay and several accompanied with stunning sunsets. The best part of the hotel is the staff. They are so friendly and helpful. Nothing was ever too much trouble. They constantly remembered little details about what the four of us liked in relation to food and drink and glasses were never empty. We were very sad to leave The House, we had the most lovely, relaxing stay and next time we are in Barbados we will define stay at The House again.

We had a brief but absolutely perfect two-night stay at the House in Barbados, and I can’t say enough about how wonderful this experience was. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was top-notch—the people here are genuinely some of the kindest and most welcoming we have ever met! Jason, you have a great team! The service was simply excellent. Shane was the first to greet us, but every staff member was attentive and professional, ensuring that even during a short stay, every detail was taken care of. A side benefit - there is a water taxi that will take you to other properties. The food was another major highlight. Each meal was a treat, featuring fresh ingredients and incredible local flavors that rivaled any fine dining experience. Whether it was a quick bite or a full dinner, everything was delicious! It would be nice if there was a workout room but I was able to use the property 2 doors down. Since it was so early, one of the staff members even walked me there to make sure I had no issues with access. If you are looking for a place with great people, stellar service, and beautiful sunsets, this is it. We are already planning our next (and much longer) visit!

This was our first visit to Barbados. We’ve traveled extensively in the Caribbean. Barbados is beautiful. We arrived NYE. We were met by the driver arranged by The House. We arrived to see the beautiful last sunset of 2025. Our NYE dinner was savory, gourmet & memorable. The hotel arranged for live music with dancing until 1 am. There were two sets of fireworks over the ocean. Our hotel room was ocean view on 3rd floor. During our stay you could hear the waves and sunrise with the super full moon. The house keeping was twice a day and did an excellent job. The breakfast buffet had a variety of choices ranging throughout our stay from pancakes, french toast, bacon, sausage, veggies, potatoes, fruits, cheeses, smoothies & eggs to order. We had two nights of dinner buffet. One night we ordered room service to our balcony with an additional $20 charge. We enjoyed taking the water taxi to all 3 other Marriott managed hotels. All 4 hotels have beautiful & clean beaches to walk. As others have shared water shoes are a good idea if you want to walk & swim beach. We swam everyday. While we were there the beach was calm, clear and crystal blue. I attended the one yoga class offered while there. It was a nice outside oceanfront yoga practice. The very basic gym for The House is located at Treasure beach. The walk from The House to Treasure beach by road is short and currently the side walk is not always smooth. There is a gas station in between hotels where we purchased sunscreen. What we liked best about The House was that it was adult only, right on a very clean beach, delicious gourmet food, good service (all bartenders very nice & fun) and the option to travel by water taxi to see other parts of Barbados. It was a wonderful & relaxing start to the new year. 🇧🇧

I stayed at The House as a member of a 6 strong party. None of us could find any fault at all. The staff were all amazing as were the rooms and food. You really felt they were treating you as individuals. Look at the pictures, they don't lie. This has to be one of the most spectacular hotel settings in the island. I cannot recommend The House enough. If you are thinking of going, you won't regret your choice.

I went here for my honeymoon and was not disappointed. We stayed in an ocean view room and loved every moment! It’s a small resort, which is exactly what we were looking for. Never seemed crowded, and only had one restaurant. We went to the Cliff restaurant nearby one night and actually thought the hotel food was better. They often brought in live music for dinner which was an absolute highlight. I can’t wait to come back for an anniversary!!
