Stayed there for one night recently. The room wasnt ready on time amd smelt of cigarette smoke, the bathroom was covered in ants. The real issue was the loud music in the bar directly below our room. They had a DJ but only had around 10 guests, fhe music went on until 0030 that night, our room was vibrating with the noise. I asked them at 2300 if they could lower the sound and they said yes, but didn't do anything. Disappointing really as it wasn't cheap.

The Moxy is a fun place to stay. It's a u-shaped building with a colonial/hacienda style, and rooms accessed by outdoor central staircase to a second floor balcony overlooking a courtyard below. The courtyard features business offices and a casual lounge/cafe restaurant with a great vibe for any time of day. The rooms are large, modern, and tasteful, and the staff are professional, friendly and helpful. The bar will pump the Soca on weekends but turn it down by 10pm or so to not disturb guests. It's got a great location just up the strip from the main party junction and not far from Nelson's Dockyard.

We only stopped by for a cocktail and dessert. They were all amazing. The atmosphere and decor were quite modern and stylish. The restaurant is to the forefront of a large plaza which is mostly closed at nights, but it did give the feeling that you were no longer in a Caribbean island. There is live entertainment as well; unfortunately none was there the evening we went. I will definitely return to experience the full menu.

The king room was lovely and looked recently re-furnished. However when we moved to a standard room we noticed a huge drop in standards. The sheets were stained at the pillows were stuffed with lumps - they were impossible to sleep on. We also noticed that shower gel etc was provided in some rooms and not others (since we were a group split across a few rooms). Yes the staff were friendly and helpful when they were around, however, the noise from the bar was absolutely ridiculous. I was in room 22 yet I might as well have been sat in the bar downstairs. The music was painfully loud...I went downstairs (after midnight!) to ask when it would stop. NO ONE was in the bar. The staff were unfriendly and didn’t seem to care that they were also operating a hotel where people come to sleep. If there was a forewarning that music would be played loud and late into the night, maybe I wouldn’t have complained. But yet nothing. Upon checkout...no one to be seen. Shutters were down. No bell. We had no idea how to hand back the keys?! This is overpriced for what you receive.

Great place to stay in English harbor! Very clean and the AC is on point! Near the beach as well! Since the desk is not always open, Id recommend to ask for beach towels at check in.
