Our server Naoko was excellent. She's definitely a gem! She was very attentive, and made us feel welcomed and comfortable. Flavors on the food were great, however, my steak was closer to well done that I wanted, and my gf garlic mashed potatoes tasted "off". Overall though, it was an enjoyable dinner.

Firstly I’d like to give a massive shout out to the staff on duty today. They were amazing and the only thing that made the visit good. Now, for the main event: I contacted Time Out to ask if they were showing the Six Nations Rugby. They responded and said yes. We turned up and there were 3 TV screens in the bar/restaurant. The game was found and put on but there was no sound! We requested that the sound was turned up and the bar manager explained that the owner didn’t want this. We were the ONLY people in the bar at the time but had to watch the game with cheesy 80’s music playing instead of rugby. The bar team were apologetic . NOTE we were told that if we wanted to watch the game and not buy drinks it would be $40 each.. We were buying lunch and drinks so not needed BUT $40 to watch a sports game with NO SOUND? I then contacted the main desk again and the sound was increased slightly. The owner of the restaurant found and had insisted that his team turned it down again. I emailed the owner during the game to explain all of this and, as yet, have received no response We spent over $150 during the game as it was too late to find another bar. Having now read previous reviews it would seem that the new owner is trying to make something out of the restaurant. What a mistake! Time Out used to be busy for rugby with ex pats and holiday makers alike... now, it’s like a ghost town and the owner doesn’t have the business acumen to recognise that the couple that spent $150 was the only business he had!! DO NOT ATTEMPT TO GO TO THIS PLACE IF YOU WANT TO ENJOY SPORTS But the team here are fanastic so this is no reflection on them at all. I have the bill and videos to show how empty the place was when our request was refused and email ignored Rookie mistake. We will never return as people who spends six months every year on this lovely island TOP TIP FOR OWNER: if you don’t want sports to be shown in your restaurant, may I suggest you remove the TV’s?

Excellent restaurant and bar for all occasions with amazing staff! My family and I stayed at Time Out Hotel and spent a lot of time at The Rhum Stop not only because it was convenient but also the food was so good with plenty to choose from and all cooked to a high standard. Highlights for me were starting the day with a Frizzle breakfast, a coffee and a pineapple juice, while sat outside in the sun and all served by friendly staff who we got to know within the first couple of days of our stay. The greek salad, lobster and coconut fried shrimp were exceptionally tasty and a wide variety of drinks with the Banks larger and house rum punch as my go-tos for the week.....the best rum punch I had all week! If you like laid back vibes, exceptional food and drinks served by friendly staff then The Rhum Stop is definitely the place to go when visiting 'The Gap'.

We stopped by on a walkabout because we were hungry and really wanted food. The food was decent. Having a hotel restaurant/bar is always a challenge. They navigate it well (we were in on a night where they had 20+ teenage boys). The rum punch was the best I've ever had (and I love my rum).

I’m here with my husband for a business trip and he has eaten here before but my first time. Service was great, greeted us with a pleasant smile. Ordered the chicken sandwich. I have to say this was one of the best chicken sandwiches I have had in a long time! Cooked perfect!! I could eat here every night on our trip! You will not be disappointed with the food or service!
