Staff were really welcoming, and professional. Restaurant clean, modern and comfortable.
Food was disappointing. We ordered mixed ceviche and picked octopus as 2 starters. Both dishes were exactly (same salad mixture) one with fish bits and the other with Octopus (but minimal portions and salty).
Mains were ok but for what they were, portion size and quality, they were average.
As one main, we had whole grilled octopus (which for a restaurant called SeaCat) doesn’t feature on the menu! It was
good, grilled octopus. For the second main we had Barramundi with cassava chips and a tiny bowl of rather overdressed salad.
When the bill came we had a brief time to scan it, and once we’d paid the staff didn’t leave the bill. I found it odd.
Not sure whether it’s because I’ve eaten some amazing BBQ’d fish and seafood at local places on the island, where you get so much more bang for your buck or what.. but I felt the food/quality missed the mark.

We had dinner here and everything was great. The food was phenomenal - I strongly recommend you try the fish. The drinks were very good too. The staff is really friendly and the prices are OK. I would definitely recommend this place for dinner.

Well, as always, I'm going to be real honest. We were the first in and were greeted with warmth and kindness. Good job there. The dining area is quaint and charming and is the typical setting for the island. I would say it's a full shirt and no swimwear sit-down type of atmosphere. Intimate, but not to fancy.
Now, the food, yes, let's talk about the food. This is where the stars are lost. Firstly, in all fairness, there was much online hype about the food that lured us to the Seacat. So expectations were high. In short, they missed the mark on portion size and flavor (that is considering the cost). I had the sword fish, and it had the potential to be something special, but it was overcooked to the point that the underside was charred a bit too much, causing the dish to begin to dry out. BUT it was edible, and i ate it all as served with no complaints to the server. I'm not complaining unless I can't eat it. But I can put you on notice bc the cook always know what they are sending out. The presentation was decent, but the flavor was missing mostly in the sampler appetizer and the red snapper offerings. For our sampler choice, we had okra, fish bites, and prongs. The wife was a bit disappointed citing lack of flavor. And she had the same description for her red snapper.
Now again to be fair, I think we didn't get the same ... as the others they hyped the place up got ... for whatever the reason. You can see what we got, and you should definitely go patronize the place, bc I believe they are better than they were on our night.

Probably the best meal we had on the island. The menu is somewhat limited but what they do serve the are masters of. The service is friendly but not very attentive nor fast. They play good music that keeps the vibes light. I found the seating to be a little uncomfortable, but all of this was made up by the food.
The parking is horrible, small and when wet very messy.

This place is a gem! Best fish I ate while in Barbados. I had the Amber Jack catch of the day, lightly blackened and cooked nicely, not over cooked. All was high quality and situated in a quaint corrugated steel building where you might not expect to encounter such quality food. Staff was pleasant and friendly.
