The Seafood Shack became our refuge after long days and longer nights in St. Lawrence Gap. It sat by the water near our hotel, open late when every other kitchen on the island seemed asleep. We ended up there most nights... not out of habit, but gratitude.
The food could be uneven and the prices ambitious, but when hunger strikes close to midnight, philosophy tends to yield to fried food. The mix-seafood loaded fries were our favorite, a fine reward for patience after the inevitable wait among beach-bar crowds.
There’s room for polish, sure, but it’s an honest shack with a soul; Barbados could use a few more like it.

Believe the hype!!! I had read the good reviews and can confirm, this place is fantastic. For a small beach set up, the menu is extensive and has something for everyone. I went for the Loaded Fries with Shrimp and oh my god, sensational! Portion was huge. Generous with the fresh shrimp, lots of fries, and the perfect amount of saucey goodness. Excellent value for money considering the standard of food and amount you receive. Nice area with benches beside it to sit in the shade and enjoy what could possibly be the best lunch you will ever have! It’s a 100/10 from me. Also, Sheena, the server, was welcoming and friendly which is always a plus ☺️

This shack was delicious. We ordered the lobster bites and the crab tacos. Everything was cooked to order and absolutely delicious. My only complaint was that we were not able to go back due to our vacation ending. I would recommend!

I went to the Seafood Shack for lunch. You can't beat the views and the food!
You always pay premium prices for lobster, but the quality was second to none, and there was plenty of lobster in the roll and fries.
My pick was the lobster tail, which came with fries and salsa.
The order arrived quickly. They let us know that it might be a half an hour wait, but it only took about 15 minutes.
It was the best lunch that I had in Barbados!
