Darien was an absolute blessing during my trip to St Lucia! He was such a kind, vibrant, easy going gentleman who truly took care of our group. He is a fabulous cook and served the best food and drinks for us during our stay. His sea food boils, chicken wings and rum punch are a MUST TRY! It’s evident that he puts so much love and care into everything he does, which is why our group had such a wonderful experience with him. The private sea tour was INCREDIBLE! Most tours on the island are filled with a multitude of guests but with Darien, it was a private tour that allowed our group to fully experience the beauty of Sugar beach while also capturing views of the Pitons while sitting on the water. We had such a blast at Sugar Beach — Darien amplified the vibe and ensured that our group had a trip to remember in St Lucia. His wife Germaine was also wonderful as well, she really took care of our group by bringing us to the Sulphur Springs, ensuring that we were taken care of. We fell in love with Darien and his beautiful wife during this trip.. they were not just tour guides for us during our time in St Lucia, they became our family! I would fully recommend anyone to partake in the services and amenities that the Star Bright Experience has to offer, as you will get a true sense of St Lucia and the experience of a lifetime!

Delicious food in such a beautiful place! The owner, Daryll, was the absolute best! Kind, funny and a great chef. This was the highlight of our trip to St.Lucia and can’t wait to come back!

The star bright experience was easy to find along the beach, just south of the pier at Laborie Beach, st. Lucia. My sister and I boarded the boat at the pier by going down some stairs. I brought my own towel and snorkeling gear, although they had snorkeling gear there for me and my sister. We chose to go to the Pitons so we could see them from the sea, and also to snorkel. The snorkel was the best I’ve ever seen! I don’t know if it’s because we went in the morning or not. We got to snorkel for as long as we wanted to. When we had had enough, we boarded the boat again from the pier in Sufriere at Sugar Beach. Daryll and his crew-mate had some cold beers waiting for us. It was about a 40 minute boat ride there and 40 minute boat ride back. They had some music going on a speaker. It was not a rough ride at all even though there were some swells on the way home. Daryll knew how to navigate around the swells so it was a smooth ride. When we got back to the beach in Laborie, Daryll made us some drinks while he made us a lobster dinner which was delicious! The only advice I would give him is to get some of those lobster cracker tools so that you could get the meat out of the legs. Be sure to bring your sunscreen as the boat does not have a cover. It was not hot since we went in the morning. Daryll gave us some beach chairs and we spent the rest of the afternoon on the beach right in front of his restaurant/Bar.

I cannot say enough positive things about the Star Bright Experience! Daryll listened to what we were hoping for in an excursion and upped it by including a delicious, fresh lunch option. From the service to the atmosphere to the cooking, everything was top notch! He communicated well, had fair pricing, and offered a personalized tour for what one would pay for a much larger group! We did a snorkeling adventure to Sugar Beach. Daryll and Ken provided us with local knowledge, told us where to get the best photos, and provided an overall top notch experience! For lunch we returned to Laborie Beach where his bar is set up. He pulled out lounge chairs for us while he cooked up some grilled shrimp and lobster with all the fixings. We had a fresh coconut water to drink, some fresh juice, and a few Piton beers all included in our negotiated price.

Don’t look any further for a dinner experience! GO HERE. Lobster and barracuda were phenomenal. We were literally the only people there and got a 10 star experience and service. You eat right on the beach. STAR bright is RIGHTTTTT !!!!
