Captain was extremely rude. Ride was unnecessarily rough because he was going so fast over waves. We arrived and were expected to jump off 6 feet into the shallows with our stuff. (There is no dock or anything on the island) No ladder or any other assistance. We later called and asked how we were expected to get back into the boat and were told he had a ladder! Overall a very over priced and unacceptable service. It is challenging to get snorkeling gear on and get in and out from the beach. Note that this service is not a boat that stays with you. You are dropped off and picked up. Snorkeling was not great. There are many cool lizards though. Island has only a few picnic tables. No amenities. we did not see any turtles.

The captain is friendly and gave good directions for the trip to the island. However, when disembarking the boat at Tintamarre, you had to jump off the boat onto the sand while the boat was moving due to the waves. So it was quite a difficult disembarkation and embarkation. It is therefore not made for the elderly and people with reduced mobility!! The island was very beautiful though.

I don’t like to write ✍️ a negative review about a local place; however this time I needed to go out of my way to do so. Eileen Howard review does hold weight to her statement. I’d read her review carefully. The captain is indeed a very rude man and shouldn’t hold the title of Captain; especially when people’s lives are at risk. Yes the waves are very choppy on the windward side; however that doesn’t mean you have to ride the motorboat like a maniac. When we landed, there was no ladder offered (only on the return trip) The group of 4 were told by the captain “hurry up, I have to go back to work” After a 15-20 minute long, extremely fast and bumpy ride we were told to hurry/get off the boat as quickly as possible. It was very challenging even for a man to jump down 6ft. I ended up falling on my back, luckily there was wet sand on the beach that cushioned the impact. I checked over their competitor Scoobi. It’s better paying a few more euro’s where the captain would be courteous to offer a ladder upon landing. It’s standard practice. I even asked on WhatsApp and his reply was YES, little did I know it was only on the return trip. I traveled all around the world, drove boats in many different oceans & lakes. This was a very dangerous ride. The 2 women next to my wife almost fell out, thanks to quick thinking on my wife’s end, she was able to grab her arm. All the captain needed to do was keep his cool and not drive so quickly even change the seating to make it comfortable for very bumpy rides. The other captains on the dock prior to sailing were very friendly and smiling.

No nonsense ferry to Tintamarre. The captain was friendly, waiting for us already even though we were 30 minutes early. The trip was fast and smooth. He left us with good island info and snorkeling gear and returned several hours later at the time we requested. He has a 4 person minimum but agreed to take just the two of us at the 4 person price which was still less than the excursion prices published for 1 person. If your looking for a more private experience on your schedule this is the way to go! His website email didn't work but he was prompt in responding to a WhatsApp. Highly recommend!

Avoid at all costs. Disrespectful. He told us to meet at 9:30 am. The boat was full, he told us to wait… so we waited. When he came back, he left to take tourists to Pinel without saying a word to us. Without even an apology… don't go. Rude. He treats tourists and locals like fools.
