Great local restaurant. We had the fresh catch (king fish), grilled veggies and mashed potatoes. Everything was awesome with reasonable prices. Kayon the chef and Dion our bartender / waiter made us feel right at home. Highly recommend this restaurant.

About a 15 minute walk from the dock and close to the airport, Tropical Trapping was worth the diversion. Tender beef stew in a black bean sauce, provisions of bananas and sweet potatoes, and fresh veggies were on the special lunch menu for the day. Airy atmosphere and relaxed music complemented by a wonderful bar tender and server made the whole experience perfect for the time we had left before the ferry arrived. Highly recommend.

Food was delicious and service was exceptional. We ordered the grilled Mahi-mahi with sautéed vegetables. Also came with macaroni salad and bell pepper pasta.
The presentation was awesome. The best food on Virgin Gorda!!!

Sorry that I forgot to take some pictures when we were having dinner at Tropical Trapping. We went there after hiking to the Gorda Peak, in the hope of exploring some alternative dining places to the popular restaurants on the west side of Spanish Town. We wanted to order some sea food, but they didn't have any fresh catch due to the rough and windy sea that week. To our surprise, the steak and chicken Roti we ordered were so delicious and flavorful! The chef and her husband were very nice and friendly, great decent people. The prices are very reasonable. I would definitely recommend checking out this place if you want something different from Bamboo and CocoMaya...

Great food! Weather was bad, they didn’t have any fresh fish but we brought them some fish we caught that day, and they cooked it for us. Such a nice family and a nice bar/patio area with great atmosphere and music.
