Took this tour of Bonaire from John, who is a Bonaire tour board member also, and was at the tour sales tent for VOYAGER BONAIRE TOURS. The tent is with a few other tour tents just as you get off of any ship at port at Kralendijk, Bonaire. Our driver was Norman, and he was entertaining and friendly through the 2 1/2 hour tour of both South and North ends of Bonaire. The tour can be one or the other as well, but I would highly suggest the combined tour to REALLY see the diversity that the island offers. The 6 seats in the van were fine and the tour was MUCH cheaper than if booked as a cruise ship excursion! Well worth the money spent! The south end features interesting stops and information along the way. We stopped and got pieces of natural sea salt and past dozens and dozens of rock stacking cairns and sculptures along the shoreline. Saw a few wild donkeys as we continued on our way as well. Our driver, Norman, stopped for us at Sebastian's Beach which is a "don't miss" spot with a restaurant and unexpectedly upscale surroundings. This is a view like you would see in movies and you would even expect to see famous people "laying low" and escaping the public at a place like this. Windsurfing is a main event at this beach. A view to remember! Heading back to the starting point to drop off/add passengers you will traverse the inner portion of Bonaire, much in contrast to the just-visited casual and inviting atmosphere of Sebastian's Beach. The north end tour follows the eastern coastline to "1000 Steps" on Queen's Highway. From this stop, you can walk from the road down to the teal waters of the Caribbean Sea. Be sure that you can again walk back to the top! Continuing on, we visited the interior city of Rincon. This is the oldest city in the Caribbean and was formed in 1527. We stopped at a small grocery store here, and Norman bought a goat's head for some soup...something you don't see every day. Our last stop was Cruz Seru Largu, and the view from this peak is not to be missed! This tour gives you the sense that you understand what Bonaire is really like, as opposed to staying in the port and experiencing 2% of what is actually there, and for the price, it is a no-brainer. My advice is to go in the morning, like before 10am when it could be cooler. Take both the North and South tour combined. Return around 1:00 PM for lunch and walking a bit, and then finish with some drinks by the water at the convenient and welcoming Karels Beach Bar until its time to walk back onto the ship.

Great experience with John and his family renting a nice Kia for the day. The small car was perfect to take on the narrow drive up the coast and through the marine sanctuary. The young lady at the desk was very informative and provided a map, detailed information about the island and a couple recommended locations. The car itself was beautiful, brand new and efficient. We kept it on the paved roads and topped it off right before we returned it, so no issues there. Thank you John and family for a great experience. Being able to drive around the island really made this a trip to remember and one of our favorite cruise experiences so far (and we've been on a few).

My husband and I rented scooters & rode halfway around the island! It was absolutely the most fun we’ve had on any of our cruise stops. The team at Voyager Bonaire were excellent, they took great care of us and we were so glad the representative was paying attention to our conversation as we passed by them as we left the cruise ship that morning. We had been hoping to rent bicycles, she explained they didn’t have any bicycles, but would we consider the scooters? We thought it sounded like a reasonable price and a lot of fun. They gave us a short ride to the office where we filled out paperwork and were given a quick lesson on how to ride the scooters and we took off. Had absolutely the best few hours. We took the coast road around the island, passing beautiful views of the ocean, dive sites, the salt flats, and then stopped for lunch at a beach resort. We felt very safe and the scooters were well maintained. I highly recommend!

Do Not rent a car from this place!!! We rented a car and after a few hours the tire blew it was rotted out! We brought it back and they told me no charge and everything was fine . Then as soon as our boat left port they charged my card and when I went to contact them about it they said I’m lucky they didn’t make me pay for a new tire because I ran over a nail 😂😂 as you can see from the picture it definitely wasn’t a nail!!! They were very rude after we left

I am so disappointed! Would never recommend them again! AND MR."I AM THE OWNER" I DID FILL YOUR TANK ALL THE WAY FULL! TAKE A GOOD LOOK AT THE PHOTO... THE "E" IS FOR EMPTY AND THE "F" IS FOR FULL. AND THE 12 SPACES IN THE MIDDLE SHOW YOUR TANK WOULD NOT HOLD ANY MORE GAS. O!h, and thanks for ruining my whole day!
