We had a great experience here! Food is absolutely delicious with generous portions served. The seafood was extremely fresh and the steak was cooked to perfection. The servers are attentive and the meal was well paced. They also start the meal with delicious garlic bread. A great place to bring a group as there is lot of variety on the menu. If it is busy, it does get a little bit loud. Indoor and outdoor seating available. I will definitely have to visit again.

After seeing all the positive reviews we decided to try it out! I ordered the blackened red snapper and my wife had the pasta. The fish and shrimp was good! All the other stuff that comes on the plate, not so much. I would definitely go with the pasta next time. Garlic bread was very good!

Without a doubt, our favourite restaurant of the trip! We arrived early, so we didn’t have to wait long for a table, which was a great start to the evening. Everything we ordered was incredibly fresh and full of flavour, but the ceviche was the freshest we’ve ever had. You could really taste the quality of the seafood. The service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere was relaxed without feeling overly touristy. It’s easy to see why this place is so highly recommended. If you’re visiting Aruba and love fresh seafood, Wacky Wahoo is an absolute must. We’ll definitely be back on our next trip!

Went to Wacky Wahoo’s—there was a lineup like always, but we got in after about 45 minutes. Honestly, worth the wait. We started with the coconut shrimp and Aruban soup. Shrimp were crispy and really well done. The soup was simple but good, with nice chunks of flaky fish. They also brought out homemade bread that was soft inside with a bit of a crust—really nice. For mains, we had mahi mahi (blackened) and red snapper (pan-seared), both with saffron rice, plantain, and funchi. The mahi mahi was good but the seasoning kind of took over. The red snapper was better—flaky, tasty, and you could really enjoy the fish. Overall, really good spot. Would go back for sure.

The flavors here are unique. I think it's a blend of Caribbean and Dutch, and quite scrumptious. The blackened shrimp and red snapper was perfectly seasoned and cooked. It's not Louisiana blackened so don't be expecting that. The flavor itself was lighter and easier to down, probably the Dutch influence. Some times, too much spice is hard for the stomach and senses. The salsa/sauce that came with it was unique, heavier on the cucumbers and celery but really tasty. I think I actually prefer it over the traditional salsa. I know some people said the veggies weren't seasoned but I'm fairly sure they were cooked in some kind of broth. For me, my husband, and 8 year old, it was delicious. My husband loved my dish more than his, but his surf and turf was also perfectly cooked and delicious as well. Also, the red sangria was on point.
