Deeply Disappointing Experience with “We Just Clean Barbados” We booked a deep clean through their website four days in advance. The website showed availability for our selected date, but the next day, we received a call saying the date was unavailable due to another “big job” spanning two days. (Red flag #1: the date shouldn’t have been shown as available.) The representative then tried to gaslight me by claiming we booked “last minute,” despite their website advertising same-day cleaning. (Red flag #2.) They also claimed they usually conduct site visits before confirming bookings to ensure accuracy—something not mentioned anywhere on their website. (Red flag #3.) Eventually, they agreed to clean on Thursday afternoon, but the cleaners arrived late, after 2 p.m. Two individuals were sent, neither of whom seemed capable of moving furniture as required for a deep clean. Predictably, they didn’t move or clean behind or under any bedroom furniture (beds, side tables, etc.). When I pointed this out, they addressed it, but by then it was 7 p.m., and their eagerness to leave was obvious. At first glance, the house appeared clean, so I let them leave. However, the next morning, after a thorough walk-through, I realized that more than half of the tasks listed on their website for a “deep clean” were not done, and the work that was done was subpar. For example, headboards, backsplashes, and cupboard faces were untouched. I documented everything with photos and videos and shared them with the owner, expressing my dissatisfaction. The owner’s response was dismissive and full of excuses. She agreed to send the cleaners back that same day, but no one showed up. Later that evening, I received a call apologizing for the no-show and was told they’d come the following day at midday. Again, no one came. By 5:30 p.m., she called asking if they could come then. At that point, I declined—cleaning in the dark after multiple failures was not an option. I ended up cleaning the house myself. When I requested a partial refund, the owner offered a measly 10% discount ($30 off), claiming the tasks I noted were “low-cost items.” This was insulting and dismissive. yet another attempt to gaslight me. I declined, and we exchanged texts, which I can share as proof of this nightmare experience. This company is unapologetically comfortable taking people’s hard-earned money without delivering proper service. If you want your home cleaned thoroughly and professionally, DO NOT book with “We Just Clean Barbados.” 0/10

I recently used We Just Clean for a deep cleaning service, and overall, I was impressed with the results. The cleaning itself was exceptional—everything was spotless and thoroughly done. However, there was an issue with the booking process. My initial preferred date wasn’t available due to a lack of cleaners, which was a bit inconvenient. Thankfully, they were able to reschedule within less than a week, which was appreciated
