Handy terminal for ferries to Jost. also Red Hook/ Cruz bay ferries ( usvi). quite a bit of parking available.

Awful experience. If I could give zero starts I would. We arrived at 6:30 am to buy tix on a 7:15 ferry to St John, then to St Thomas, then to the airport for an 11:52 flight. The ticket taker arrived around 7, we got our tickets on Road Town Fast Ferry, left our bags, had to pay the port fee at a different window (after waiting for that ticket taker to arrive), went thru security in a different area. The agent told us the ferry would be leaving at 7:30...the first we heard it was going to be late. Right before getting on the boat we hadn't seen our bags be loaded while others were, so asked the captain and he had to go find them. We left at 7:45 with no explanation for delay and they kept letting people on. We arrived at St John about 15 min later for customs. The captain moved us through the line ahead of others who were waiting. We were back on the boat waiting without any communication from the captain about the delay in departing. Apparently someone from our ferry was having an issue inside. The captain never told us what was going on. Another passenger who had a flight time after ours asked if anyone was flying and when we said yes she suggested we follow her to another ferry terminal (short walk). It was 9:10 when we got off the West End Ferry boat. Bought new tickets to St Thomas. The disorganization and lack of communication was beyond frustrating.

Difficult to see folks behind various windows. No signage on where to go but helpful people around to direct you. Very convenient location

Super easy to get to, park right at the terminal, pay for your ride and go! There are no real services on that end of the island so be prepared with everything you need. Would not recommend using it as your arrival from USVI unless you have a ride there waiting for you. Road Town is much easier for that. But, getting to Jost Van Dyke is simple, easy, and the best from this terminal.
