Lighthouse is closed and not that much of an attraction. However right across the street is where all flamingos live! Hundreds of them.
You can’t really walk into the lagoon close to them, or so the rock on the ground says, but with zoom lens is plenty enough.

Interesting place to see and fantastic for photos later on in the day with the sunset. You can't go in but there are interesting rock piles and beach combing opportunities. Across the road you may see flamingos and up the road are more ruins and the Red Slave structures.

Regular lighthouse with some old building near.
You can seewa lot of flamingos in opposite direction. But be kind, people are not allowed to go near flamingos. Keep it in your head!

Cool little Lighthouse on the south side of the island. It was raining when we went, but still had a good time. Got to see some flamingos and donkeys while on our way to and from. We were on a cruise ship that stopped here and rather than doing one of their expensive tours we got a cab for $25 a person and the cab driver gave us a tour.

Came here on a cruise ship and paid for a local cruise when we got off the boat. This was one of the stops and it was nice, but boring.
