We had a delightful afternoon on a private snorkeling charter with Manu on a blustery early March afternoon. As we were approaching our starting point by the island-manu spotted a couple of humpback whales breaching nearby so we diverted on the fly and started our adventure with some choice whale watching-bonus! Manu ably captained us across choppy waters and we had a nice swim. Sadly with global warming the first reef wasn’t as lively as one would hope - but we did spend quite a while watching and swimming near sea turtles. Our second stop was more interesting as we drifted with the current along a shallow reef. Manu provided chips and beverages as well.

Manu was a fantastic guide for us from the moment we contacted him! He came highly recommended and I’m happy to be able to share my experience. Manu offered us his recommendation for the best day for us to go out to try to see the humpback whales. It was a very windy week so we knew it was going to be tricky. Although we didn’t see whales, we had an incredible sighting of 2 different pods of dolphins, multiple sea turtles, and a flying fish! We capped off our excursion by going snorkeling at Tintamarre, where we also saw sea turtles. If I ever make it back to Saint Martin, I’d book another excursion without hesitation.

Had a last minute request to rent some wing foil gear. The owner helped me right away and met me at the shop quickly. I really appreciated the communication, the gear selection, and the tips. Despite not having an instructor it was a fun and worthwhile experience. I had fun and was able to make good progress with learning to wing foil despite not having much wind. I don't recommend the wing foil beyond your first 30-60 minutes if its hardly "white-capping", need more wind.

The boat trip was the highlight of our trip to SXM. We snorkeled in the reefs at Green Cay and with turtles at Tintamare. There were drinks and snacks onboard. Manu was super attentive and made the trip a special memory. I highly recommend it!

Just got back from a great time in St.Martin - Orient Bay (Baie Orientale). Fun and supportive wing and kite foiling scene, great rental gear @Wind Adventures School SXM - they do lessons too. Manu and his team are true professionals. St Martin has nice accommodations in the village with delicious French food. Highly recommended vacation spot , especially if you are traveling with a non-wind person. Swell riding outside the bay .. smooth water inside. Had a great time and just wanted to tell you with confidence these guys are great. Learned a lot too. Will be back to Wind Adventures next year -
