Very clean, you will find everything you need to cook. They also have a nice wine section.

I prefer to buy fresh produce in here than in the other large supermarkets in Pétion-Ville, such as Caribbean or Giant. There's a good variety of fruits and vegetables that you can choose one by one, all of them with a quite reasonable price. The people working here are very friendly and helpful as well. I didn't calculate precisely, buy I have the impression that the pantry items are a little bit cheaper if compared to the other supermarkets in the area. The butcher could be improved. I still prefer to buy fish, meat and poultry on the other supermarkets. Summarising, it's worth visiting Extra if you prefer to choose your fruits and vegetables. And choosing your veggies yourself you can end up using less packaging, giving a slight contribution to the cleanliness of the city. (April 2019) Editing the review one year later: they improved a lot the fishmonger, now there are regular deliveries of fresh fish straight from the fishermen. If you are registered as a regular customer (I recommend, it gives you discounts), they will send you an email as soon as the fresh fish arrive. Really cool stuff!

Really love shopping there, especially in the fruits and vegetables section where you buy what you need. Their French products selection is quite amazing. Prices are what they are in a difficult country. Forgot to mention: they have a point cash back program that works really well. I accumulated about 7000g after a few months that I used this morning to pay my shopping.

It's a good place for shopping. The staff members are really kind and well trained. They have various products including local stuffs as well as imported ones. Their parking is safe and big enough to receive several cars at the same time.
