Xtrem Excursions Guadeloupe Gwada Walk Tour

We originally booked this tour through an agency in Saint-Anne, but next time we would definitely book directly with Xtrem. Our guide was Guillaume (William), and he truly made this day unforgettable. The tour lasted from 8:00 AM until around 4:30 PM and was definitely one of the highlights of our stay in Guadeloupe. We didn’t see any big fish, and the snorkeling was honestly quite similar to what you can experience at the beaches in Saint-Anne (just with 2–3 additional fish species), but in the end, that wasn’t what made this tour so special. What really made it exceptional was the incredible atmosphere on board. The energy, the fun, and how quickly everyone connected made the whole experience amazing. Guillaume created such a great vibe that the entire group bonded almost instantly, and everyone was having a fantastic time together. One absolute highlight was the picnic in the middle of the sea. Sitting by the water — and even partly in it — while watching small fish swim around your feet, enjoying fresh food surrounded by this beautiful scenery, was such a unique and memorable experience. Guillaume also shared a lot about Guadeloupe, local life, and the island throughout the day. Since I work in the tourism industry myself and have a lot of experience with guides, I can honestly say he is exceptionally talented at what he does. He is professional, funny, friendly, and knows exactly how to keep everyone engaged. And if you don’t speak French, he will still do his absolute best to make sure you understand what’s happening, taking the time to translate important parts into English, even though that clearly requires extra effort from him. Out of the 8 days we spent in Guadeloupe and the two guided tours we did there, this was by far the best one — and that is mainly thanks to Guillaume.

Guillaume was very sweet. I enjoyed his cooking and introduction. It was very very comforting eating with your feet soaking in the sea The water was clear and the open bar was super nice

Very mixed experience … Positive point : - Guillaume was sweet and lovely !! Super interesting person - table was so beautiful - Food was amazing !!! Thanks Guillaume ! - Eli was sweet, funny and passionated - beaches were beautiful Negative point : - boat trip super dangerous ! Wouldn’t recommend for kids or elders, poor Guillaume has done what he could but I don’t understand the lack of belt or why there is no more handles … not all seats are safe at all, specially when ocean is crazy - we understood when booking that we would visit the rhum factory but it was only a tasting - some spot feel like they have been passed too quickly

We loved the boat ride with our captain Hugo! We loved eating right on the water (suuuuuuper good food really!) and next to the mangroves, visiting the sunken boat and the amazing island… we took the whole round! Finally, a big thumbs up to the music, really really good! Notes: It’s a 2h boat ride, recommend bringing a book. You won’t be the only boat during the trip, expect other boats, however not the most crowded place I have ever been to and everyone was very nice.

Fantastic day out with Francois on a boat tour, bbq in the sea and snorkelling. What a day we had on our honeymoon. Very much would recommend and made our stay in sainte anne, Guadeloupe even better! Thank you Francois from Letisha & Nelson (from London)
